PhotobucketVogue’s April cover has been a point of controversy recently. The cover features LeBron James and Gisele Bundchen, noting the first time a black man is in the cover of the magazine. However, people are calling the cover “perpetuating racial stereotypes.”

While some people, including LeBron James, think it is just fine, other people are saying that it conjures up the idea of a risky black man. The spokesman for the magazine, Patrick O’Connell said that the cover was just seeking to celebrate to superstars. In addition, James said that he is “just showing a little emotion.”

The controversy is going on, but the outcome is yet to be known. It is too soon to know how the magazine will sell. However, it might actually sell better for the controversy; since, a lot of people will be looking for that “collector’s edition.”
